Single life adjustment need not take years.

HOW LONG TO ADJUST TO A SINGLE LIFESTYLE?
More then 10,000 singles, (over a ten your period) attended our
classes on making single life work. We noticed many that came
to the class had been single for 2 or 3 years and their adjustment
to single life was not progressing. Somehow this life style was
just not working for them...
Others came to the classes shortly after
being widowed or divorced, well aware this was not going to be
an easy journey. Already recognizing they needed help in adjusting
and surviving a difficult time. They had difficulty finding direction
to get on with an all new life.
Time is a great healer and eventually heals all things.
However, we pointed out that time is what life is made of.
Therefore a decision needs to be made, do you want to eat
up part of your life and just wait for time to cure all problems,
or do you want to personally take charge of your adjusting and
responsibility for getting on to a great new life.
Once that decision is made, then it
is a matter of learning what have others done, adjusting to and
move on in short order to a bigger and better life. Figuring out
quickly how you can adopt to these changes and practice making
single life work.
All growth is
painful .....(no pain, no gain) and you willgrow
more as a person in the first year of adjusting to this whole
new world and lifestyle, then any other period of your life. This
means you will have some painful adjustments to work thru, but
not a problem when you are fully aware it is just part of the
process of moving on to a better life...
You will not be alone, you will join
with groups of others making the same journey and together enjoy
the trip. A
well planned journey from point A, a bad place to point B the
best place of your life, should take less then 6 months, (if you
carefully avoid detours)
You will know you are well adjusted to single
life (and others will know too) when you just sort of blossom
as a single person.
